Ground Beef with Veggies:
$20 feeds a family of 6:
2- 1 pound ground beef (90/10*)
3-cans of green beans
2- small yellow onions/ or 1 big onion
1 lemon (optional)
1 cup of soy sauce
1 pound/or 2 cups of brown rice
*Less fat is more worth the extra couple of bucks
in ground beef because it's straight meat, no grease
and you don't have to drain it
Directions:
Cook rice (pot, rice cooker or microwave)
Nonstick pan preferred
Cut your onions into slivers
Saute onions in a little water (oil/butter/nonstick spray is fine too)
Add your ground beef cook it till all red is gone inside meat
Add *drained* green beans
Squeeze lemon into stir fry
Add soy sauce flavor to your taste
Stir it till it all mends together
Serve over rice
